GRM was founded by Gus Murillo, a marketer and creative strategist with over 14 years of experience helping brands grow. Gus launched his first agency, ThreeSixtyEight, as a student at LSU and grew it into one of Louisiana’s largest independent firms. He later went on to serve as Head of Brand Marketing at USA TODAY, where he led the in-house agency and helped reframe how consumers connect with journalism.

With a mix of entrepreneurial drive and enterprise-brand expertise, Gus set out to build a new kind of consultancy—one that’s lean, flexible, and built around a distributed model. By curating a network of specialists rather than relying on bloated overhead, the consultancy delivers bold strategy, world-class creative, and AI-forward marketing at a scale that meets each client’s needs.

Gus has been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in Marketing & Advertising and has led international rebrands, national campaigns, and deep tech experiences for brands across industries. Part strategist, part creative director, he brings a unique ability to design marketing programs that are both strategically sound and creatively inspiring—helping organizations break from the ordinary and build meaningful brand experiences.

Beyond strategy, Gus is also an experienced producer and director, having led production at his agency for 10 years. He has produced and directed projects spanning B2B, CPG, SaaS, healthcare, and consumer tech, giving him a unique lens on storytelling across industries.
